What does an Odoo project with Big Binary Tech actually involve?+
We start with discovery workshops to map how each department works today, then issue a written blueprint covering modules, integrations, custom development, phases, and a go-live date. From there we configure, migrate your data, run user acceptance testing with your team, train your users, and stay on for support once you are live.
Can you take over an Odoo system another partner set up?+
Yes. We regularly take over half finished or poorly configured Odoo instances. We audit the current setup, document what works and what needs rebuilding, clean up the data, and give you a clear plan to get the system usable again before we touch any code.
Do you build custom Odoo modules, or only configure the standard ones?+
Both, in that order. We configure standard Odoo first because it is faster to deliver and cheaper to upgrade. Where the standard modules genuinely cannot cover a workflow, we build custom modules that follow Odoo conventions, so future version upgrades do not break your system.
How do you migrate data from spreadsheets or our legacy ERP?+
We extract your existing records, clean and map them to the Odoo data model, then load them into a staging environment where your team reconciles opening balances, stock counts, and customer histories. Only once the numbers match do we migrate to production, so you never go live on data you do not trust.
How do you train our team and support us after go-live?+
Training is part of the delivery, not an extra. We run role based sessions for finance, HR, warehouse, and sales users and hand over written documentation. After go-live we stay close through your first reporting cycles and offer a support retainer covering bug fixes, enhancements, and Odoo version upgrades.
