Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Effective 28 July 2026

Who we are

Big Binary Tech is a software development company registered in the United States and based at 30 N Gould St # 48715, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. This policy explains what personal information we collect through bigbinarytech.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

For any question about this policy or your information, contact us at business@bigbinarytech.com.

Information you give us

The enquiry form on our contact page asks for your name and business email, and optionally your phone number, company name, country or region, the service you are interested in, and a description of your project.

That form does not store anything on our website. When you submit it, your browser opens your own email application with the details filled in, and you choose whether to send. We only receive your information once you send that email. If you would rather not use the form, you can email us directly at the address above.

We use what you send only to respond to your enquiry and to discuss possible work with you. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Information collected automatically

Our website uses Google Analytics, added through the Google Site Kit plugin, to understand how visitors find and use the site. This places cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, roughly where you are in the world, your approximate device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

This is statistical. We use it to see which pages are useful and which are not. We do not use it to try to identify you personally.

Our website runs on WordPress, which sets cookies necessary for the site to function and for administrators to sign in. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Cookies and how to refuse them

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Ours fall into two groups:

  • Cookies the site needs in order to work, set by WordPress.
  • Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, which help us measure how the site is used.

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop you using any part of this website. You can also install the Google Analytics opt out browser add on if you prefer to be excluded from analytics on every site that uses it.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the service providers that make our website and our correspondence work, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its server logs.
  • Google, which provides the analytics described above.
  • Our email provider, which carries the messages you send us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Beyond that, we do not pass your information to anyone.

Where your information is held

We are based in the United States, and the providers listed above operate internationally. This means your information may be stored or processed outside your own country, including in countries whose data protection rules differ from those where you live. We take reasonable steps to work with reputable providers that maintain appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we are in contact with you about the work, and afterwards for as long as we may reasonably need it for our business records. If you ask us to delete your correspondence, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Analytics information is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete information we no longer have a good reason to keep.
  • Stop using your information for a particular purpose.
  • Provide a copy of information you gave us, in a portable form.

To make any of these requests, email business@bigbinarytech.com. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are in the UK, the European Union or another region with a data protection authority, you also have the right to complain to that authority.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and for adults enquiring about our services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information sent to us, including encrypted connections to this website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do take the responsibility seriously.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the effective date shown at the top. Where the change is significant, we will make that clear rather than relying on you to notice.
